Hi! I'm Paula Garcia, I'm an illustrator and animator based in Helsinki.

Originally from the Philippines, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics and Multimedia from Bangkok University International in Thailand. After graduating, I moved to Helsinki and started my career as a graphic designer. After a few years as a graphic designer, I shifted my practice solely to illustration and animation.

My illustrations and animations have been in various fields such as advertising, exhibitions, editorial, websites, film festivals, and social media. Some of the clients I’ve worked with include Adobe, Snapchat, Helsingin Sanomat, Fortum, and Elisa.

My work is inspired by nature, animals, travel, magic realism, and science fiction. I enjoy expressing myself in vibrant colours as well as playful textures.
